Sustainable Happiness

In December 2023, we were featured in an article about sustainable meat and seafood in Delaware. Part of our sustainablity is the happiness we feel working on our farm. Animals sense a person’s feelings and demeanor, we pass that happiness on to them. If I’m being honest, they spread their happiness to us too. There are fewer things more enjoyable than seeing your flock or herd light up when they see you coming. Laying down for belly rubs or clucking and cooing, that happiness sustains us through all of the hard work. I’ll even go as far as saying, that happiness makes our eggs, chicken, turkey, and rabbit products taste better! Our goal is to maintain a stress-free environment for our animals and for us too. Life is good on the farm.
